    Stu Evans played defense for the Detroit Red Wings from 1932 to 1934, and when he retired from hockey, he opened Stu Evans Lincoln Mercury in Michigan in 1945, eventually operating dealerships in Southgate, Garden City, and Clinton Twp., calling himself "The World's Largest Dealer" and selling Lincolns and Mercuries for over sixty years. The dealership went belly-up in 2008, well after Stu's death in 1996. This leather key case, 2 5/8" long, seems to date from the 1960's, as it appears to say LINCOLN - MERCURY COMET at the bottom. Leather is getting a bit weak around the snap, so this key case may be good for display only.
