    Description

    Carlos Santana and his band stopped in Houston Texas on Tuesday October 25, 1977 and October 27, 1977 playing at the Sam Houston Coliseum. Although the two shows were a day apart it was like a long intermission for those that attended both shows. I was there. These ticket stubbs are from my collection and not a second hand retailer. The 25th stub ha a fold between the "N" and "T" in Santana and minor creases that do not detract from the appearance. The other no rips tears bends or folds.
    Famed guitarist and front man for the band Santana had been paying his dues in the music industry but his work was only acclaimed and revered by his fans and not the status quo in the industry. It was not until late in his career that he he was recognized and that was not even for his music but rather a colaberation with Rob Thomas. This opened the doors for his long overdue accolades.
