Printed Bear Pattern for 13" (33cm) 1908 Steiff Teddy by artist Masha Kozlova.
Please, note that this is the same pattern as for my other 23" Steiff like teddy bear with long beige mohair, but this pattern is in a smaller size and there is some new short info about how to make your bear looks old and make him be able to stand by himself without a support.
In a short pile mohair you can see all the proportions of the bear- it is easy to understand the shape of his body.
In a small size it is easier and faster to sew.

I'm fond of collecting antique bears and making bears since 2009 year. And what I can say - I never dreamed I could have the new antique bear without using time-machine! :)
Firstly I have made in sculpture plasticine a model of a beautiful bear I saw on the antique postcard. Then I took a pattern from the plasticine bear, sewed the bear in simple fabric, enlarged pattern pieces and only after that I sewed the bear in mohair and made this pattern for you. I am not the very professional in sewing bears, but I always do as best as only I can and with my enormous passion and huge love to bears and bears' friends.
Enjoy and beware - bearmaking can be habit forming!
