Offered is one Pakolux M-4 Darkroom Print Washer by the Pako Corp. Features triple-action agitation. Prints are kept in motion constantly by the Cycolac cylinder's continuous rotation. The unique shape of the cylinder, as well as gentle jets of water prevent prints from matting together or sticking to the cylinder. Motor driven rotary action is unaffected by variation in water pressure. In addition, an aspirator serves as a vacuum breaker and injects air into the wash water to keep prints from matting together.
Constructed of a durable Cycolac cylinder and a seamless polyethylene tank that are corrosion-resistant, unaffected by photo solutions, and easy to clean. No gears to wear out with positive V-belt drive and gearless friction drive. Quick-action draw-off valve permits water to be drawn off from the bottom of the tank (in addition to overflow) for better washing under heavy load conditions. Easily operated with cylinder locks in raised position for loading and unloading, and lowers to washing position by touch of a foot treadle.
Will handle print sizes 5" x 7", 8" x 10", and 11" x 14" in single or double weight. And will accommodate up to 150 - 8" x 10" prints.
Installation requires three connections, one electrical (An electrician can connect electrical feed wires to motor, and install a switch at a convenient location), one 1/2" pipe for water inlet, and one 1-1/4" pipe for drain outlet. Pipes not included.
Comes with all original paperwork and instruction manual.

CONDITION:
Like new CLEAN working condition. This unit was owned by my father who was a free-lance photographer in New York for over 20 years and had a professional darkroom. It has always been kept in a climate-controlled home. It was ONLY brought outside to photograph for the purposes of this listing. (Washer was moved and photographed on a dolly, so it may not appear level in photos, as it is not standing on its legs.)
