Description
ORIGINAL VINTAGE CRESSMAN FERRARI KEY FOB (FT LAUDERDALE, FL 1970s). Bob Cressman was Florida's first Ferrari dealer, who operated in Ft Lauderdale, taking on a partner along the way to form Cressman-Baumgarten Motors in later years until retiring in the 1980s and selling out to the Shelton brothers. Bob was among the early Ferrari 'royalty,' being franchised by Luigi Chinetti, and he was one of the founders of NART--the North American Racing Team--that campaigned Chinetti's Ferraris in international racing. I was fortunate to meet Bob when I bought a 330GT from him in 1980--a project car I restored. Bob had these key rings made when he was selling new Dayonas and Dinos in the 1970s, to present with the new customers' car keys, and he graciously gave this artifact to me when I bought my 330. All my Ferraris are gone, and the memorabilia is now being thinned out as we downsize. Used, but still in very nice condition, with good plating. Hopefully there's someone out there whose Ferrari was delivered new at Cressman Foreign Cars!
