    Description

BILL VERNON Limited Edition Retired Resin MOUNTAIN LION / COUGAR / PUMA SCULPTURE Figurine
with Certificate of Authenticity ~ "Dream Catcher" ~ Series of Evolution
The mountain lion dreams of hunting a deer (which is seen running on the back of the piece).
Each Series of Evolution sculpture started out as a driftwood carving. Exquisitely handcrafted using crushed pecan shells, resin and cold cast stone. Airbrushed by hand.
This sculpture is Dream Catcher with Snow, model #3040-S, 1996 first edition. Bill Vernon's records indicate only 100 were actually made before it was retired in 1998.

From 1974 until 2004, Bill Vernon Studios produced a wide variety of collectible figurines, gifts, and home decor products. The most popular of these collectibles were
    The Shade Tree Cowboys
    and
    The Series of Evolution
    . Our collectibles were all
    MADE IN THE USA
. We started out in Gainesville, Florida, and then we moved to Franklin, North Carolina.
On May 29, 1998, Bill Vernon Studios in Franklin was destroyed by a fire. So many sculptures, the molds, and almost all records were lost. We did rebuild, but on a much smaller scale. On 2004, all Bill Vernon sculptures were retired.
