Up for sale is a rare hand carved antique natural jade pendant carving.
This piece features a very old jade carving on a 14K yellow gold bail.
The carving depicts some sort of fruit in the jade.
The piece has surface wear which is normal for such an old item.
Over the years the jade has acquired a satin feel to the surface but since the carving is deep you can still make out the fruit.
This piece comes from a private jade collection and it is estimated to be well over 100 years old.
We can trace the collection to over 60 years back as the previous owner was adding antique pieces in his travels.
It measures 38mm by 17mm by 4mm and it weighs 8.3 grams total.
