Description
Here's a really great vintage collectible Pennsylvania RR ticket that will be the highlight of any collection. Issued to Chief Clerk J.S. Finley and his wife, it provided transportation between New York City and Washington D.C., but with limitations on certain trains, including the "Trail Blazer " section of no. 78. Issued on July 24, 1939, it provided transportation during a 3 month period, expiring on Oct 24, 1939. This is in excellent condition, and appears to not have been used, since it isn't punched; however, it could have simply been a pass that was just shown in boarding. It includes a second page "Trip Pass - Going Coupon," so looks to be a complete, non-validated pass. Whatever the situation, it's a great collectible and conversation piece. Measures 5 1/4" x 3" and comes from a smoke free, pet free home. Thanks for checking it out. SP9
