    Description

    Original ticket for one fare on the Moline & Rock Island Horse Railway (Illinois) - dating from circa 1880's. This horse-drawn Street Railway opened in 1868.
    Printed on yellow card stock, it measures approx. 2-1/4" x 1-1/2", and has an illustration of a streetcar in the center, and the printed signature of the Railway's President, J. Warner.
    Very scarce.
    Light creases. Small stain at left. Fine.
